Monday (June 30) Action

     The Reidsville Braves clinched the North Star Pony League championship Monday with a 3-0 win over the Eden Boys & Girls Club at Jaycee Park.

     In other games, Triad Septic Tank wrapped up second place with a 7-4 win over the North Carolina Baseball Academy and the Reidsville Yankees edged the Eden Rec/YMCA 7-6 at Freedom Park.

     Brian Minter pitched a five-hitter with 10 strikeouts to lead the Braves.

     Jesse Wall had four hits and John Jackson and Josh Evans had two each. Adding one apiece were Jake Whicker, Minter, Alex Stanley, Brandon Wheeler, David Stadler, and Ryan Trent.

     Spencer Odell had two hits for Eden and Bray Tilley, Eli Coe, and Jacob Wall had one each.

 

Triad Septic 7

NC Baseball 4

     Triad Septic held off a late Mariner rally to get the win.

     Ricky Joe Chambers struck out 19 NC Baseball batters.

     Stephen Harris and Rhett Martin had two hits each for Triad and Jacob Stadler, Brad Martin, and Blake Covington had one apiece.

     Justin Smith, Ryan Dockery, Tom Holder, and Alex Willard had one hit each for NC Baseball.

Eden Y/Rec 6

     The Reidsville Yankees scored two runs in their final at bat to edge over the Eden Y/Eden Rec Pony league team on Monday afternoon at Freedom Park as they won by a score of 7-6.  

     Spencer Padgett and Josh Privett had two hits each for the Yanks while Chad Pruitt, Quinton Jessie and Jim Rigney had one apiece.      

     Johnathan Bowman, Spencer Osborne, Jeremiah Moreadith and Blake Dodson had two hits each for the Eden team.

Monday Night (June 23) Action

     Brian Minter struck out 14 batters and had four hits of his own to lead the Reidsville Braves to a 7-3 win over Triad Septic Tank in a North Star Pony League baseball game Monday at Jaycee Park.

     The win clinches no worse than a tie for the season championship for the Braves.

     In other games, the Eden Boys & Girls Club edged the Reidsville Yankees 2-1 and the Eden Rec/YMCA blanked the North Carolina Baseball Academy 13-0.

     A four-run sixth inning rally lifted the Braves.

     Minter’s four hits lead the offense for the Braves and John Jackson, Alex Stanley, Brandon Wheeler, Josh Evans, and Allan Caligan had one apiece.

     Ricky Joe Chambers struck out 14 batters in a losing cause for Triad Septic Tank.

     Blake Covington had two hits for Triad while Chambers, Austin James, Jacob Stadler, and Saul Gutierrez had one each.

Eden B&G 2

Yankees 1

     Eden pushed across a single run in the fifth inning to get the win.

     Eli Coe struck out 12 in a complete game effort for the Club.

     Micah Sasser had two hits for Eden and Jacob Wall and Coe had one apiece.

     Chad Pruitt had three hits for the Yankees to go with eight strike outs on the mound.

     Matthew Michael also had a hit.

Eden Y 13

NC Baseball 0

     The Eden Y/Eden Rec Pony league team defeated Reidsville’s N. C. Baseball Academy team by a score of 13-0 on Monday.

     Ryan Bailey and Qurell Foster led the Eden team with two hits apiece while Blake Dodson, Kyle Tatum and Josh Petty added one hit each. 

     Nathan Wittenbrook had the only hit in the game for the Reidsville team. 

     Jeremiah Moreadith was the winning pitcher in the game.

Thursday Night (June 19) Action

     The Reidsville Yankees scored six runs over the final two innings to post a 7-2 win over the North Carolina Baseball Academy in a North Star Pony League baseball game Thursday at Jaycee Park.

     In the other game, the Eden Boys & Girls Club downed Triad Septic Tank 7-1.

     Dylan Williams struck out 11 batters over six innings to lead the Yankees.

     Chad Pruitt, Spencer Padgett, and Quinton Jessie had two hits each for the Yankees and Williams and Josh Privett had one apiece.

     Justin Smith had two hits for NCBA and Jake Martin had one.

     Eli Coe struck out 10 batters to lead the Eden win.

     Jacob Wall and Matthew Moore had two hits each for Eden and Micah Sasser, Daniel Bullins, and Joseph Evans had one.

     Ricky Joe Cambers, Jacob Stadler, and Blake Covington had one hit each for Triad.

Monday Night (June 16) Action

     The Reidsville Braves recorded a 10-2 win over the North Carolina Baseball Academy in a North Star Pony League game Monday at Jaycee Park.

     In another game, Triad Septic Tank whipped the Reidsville Yankees 16-2.

     Jake Whicker and Brian Minter had three hits each to lead the Braves, Alex Stanley and Brandon Wheeler had two apiece and John Jackson, Josh Evans, and Ryan Trent rounded out the list with one each.

     Tom Holder and Jake Martin had one hit each for the Mariners.

     Rhett Martin had three hits to lead Triad Septic Tank and Austin James, Jacob Stadler, Brad Martin, and Stephen Harris had two. Adding one each were Saul Gutierrez, Shyheim Jumper, and Ricky Joe Chambers.

     Josh Privett and Josh Farmer had hits for the Yankees.

Friday Night (June 13) Action

     In Pony League games Friday night, the Reidsville Braves beat the Eden Boys & Girls Club 8-5 and Triad Septic Tank whipped the Club 18-1.

     Brian Minter pitched the win by recording nine strikeouts.

     Jake Whicker had three hits for the Braves and Minter, Alex Stanley, Brandon Wheeler, David Stadler, Jesse Wall, Zack Brafford, and Josh Evans had one each.

     Eli Coe had two hits for Eden.

     Ricky Joe Chambers got the complete-game win with 11 strikeouts.

     Chambers and Brad Martin (HR) had three hits each for Triad while Blake Covington had two and Austin James, Stephen Harris, Landon Holcomb, and Saul Gutierrez had one.

     Bray Tilley and Jacob Wall had two hits for Eden.

Thursday Night (June 12) Action

     Dylan Williams pitched a complete game to lead the Reidsville Yankees to a 5-3 win over the Eden YMCA/Rec in a Pony League baseball game Thursday night at Jaycee Park.

     In the other Pony game, Triad Septic Tank edged the North Carolina Baseball Academy 10-7.

     Williams scattered nine hits over seven innings to lead the Yankees.

     Chad Pruitt, Jim Rigney, Quinton Jessie, Williams, Trevor Gwynn, Josh Privett, and Wesley Gilbert had hits for the Yanks.

     Spencer Osborne, Jonathan Bowman, and Jeremiah Meredith had two hits each for the YMCA/Rec and Blake Dodson, Stephen Greeson, and Carter Watkins had one apiece.

Triad Septic 10

     Triad built an early lead and then held on for the win.

     Jacob Stadler pitched the complete game win for Triad, getting ten strikeouts.

     Stadler, Ricky Joe Chambers, Brad Martin and Stephen Harris had two hits each for Triad while Austin James and Rhett Martin had one apiece.

     Justin Smith, Mike Bailey, Nathan Wittenbrook, and Tom Holder had two hits each for NCBA and Kyle Roland, Chris Hall, and Carson Griffin had one apiece.

 

Wednesday Night (June 11) Action

     In Pony League games at Jaycee Park, the Braves beat the Yankees 9-6 and the Eden Boys & Girls Club clubbed North Carolina Baseball Academy 16-4.

     A four-run fourth lifted the Braves.

     Jake Whicker and Brian Minter had three hits each for the Braves, David Stadler and John Jackson had two and Ryan Trent, Zack Brafford, and Brandon Biggs had one apiece.

     Chad Pruitt and Jim Rigney had two hits each for the Yankees and Quinton Jessie, Josh Privett, Spencer Padgett, and Austin Boone had one apiece.

Eden B&G 16

NC Baseball 4

     Eden scored eight runs in the fourth inning and seven in the sixth.

     Bray Tilley had four hits for Eden, Eli Coe, Matt Moore, and Dallas Southard had three, Spencer Odell and Blake Royals added two each and Scott Gammons and Jacob Wall had one apiece.

     Mike Bailey had two hits for the Mariners and Justin Smith, Tom Holder, and Jonathan Warren had one apiece.

 

Monday Night (June 9) Action

     In a Pony League game Monday night, Triad Septic Tank beat the Eden Rec/YMCA 10-5.

     Triad Septic Tank scored in every inning on its way to the five-inning win.

     Brad Martin had three hits for Triad while Austin James, Rhett Martin, and Jacob Stadler had two. Adding one each were Ricky Joe Chambers, Trey Martin, and Stephen Harris.

     Spencer Osborne, Landon Wade, Blake Dodson, Kyle Tatum, Jonathan Bowman, and Jeremiah Moreadith had one hit each for Eden.

Thursday Night (June 5) Action

     Triad Septic Tank scored a run in the top of the eighth inning to record a 2-1 win over the Reidsville Braves in a North Star Pony League baseball game Thursday night at Jaycee Park.

      In the other Pony game, the Eden Rec/YMCA downed the North Carolina Baseball Academy 8-2.

     Triad Septic scratched out four hits in the eighth inning with Rhett Martin scoring the winning run on an infield hit by Saul Gutierrez.

     Both teams scored single runs in the first inning and it remained tied until the eighth as both teams got solid pitching.

     Ricky Joe Chambers struck out 13 batters over six innings for Triad while Jacob Stadler struck out three in two innings to get the win.

    Brian Minter struck out eight batters over seven innings for the Braves.

     Trey Martin led the winners with two hits and Stadler, Stephen Harris, Landon Holcomb, Rhett Martin, and Stephen Harris had one apiece.

     Minter and David Stadler had two hits for the Braves and Jake Whicker and Alex Stanley had one apiece.

Eden Rec/Y 8

NC Baseball 2

     Eden led 8-0 in the sixth inning en route to the win.

     Spencer Osbourne and Steven Greeson had three hits for the winners, Ryan Bailey and Jonathan Bowman had two apiece while Landon Wade, Blake Dodson, and Kyle Tatum had one.

     Tom Holder, Kyle Roland, and Mike Bailey had hits for NCBA.

Monday Night (June 2) Action

     The Yankees scored seven runs in the top of the seventh inning to rally for a 10-6 win over the North Carolina Baseball Academy Mariners in a North Star Pony League baseball game Monday at Jaycee Park.

     Also, the Reidsville Braves downed the Eden Rec/YMCA 7-3 and the Eden Boys & Girls Club/Mr. Rooter edged Triad Septic Tank 4-3.

     Chad Pruitt had four hits for the Yankees, Quinton Jessie had two and Jim Rigney, Josh Privett, and Jaylon Bryant had one apiece.

     Kyle Roland, Mike Bailey, Tom Holder, and Justin Smith had two hits each for NCBA and Ryan Dockery and Nathan Wittenbrook had one apiece.

     A four-run fifth secured the win for the Braves.

     David Stadler pitched into the seventh to get the win.

Brian Minter led the offense with two hits while Jake Whicker, Alex Stanley, David Stadler, Jesse Wall, John Jackson, and Zack Brafford had one each.

     Jonathan Boreman and Ryan Bailey had hits for Eden.

     Joseph Evans had two hits for the Club while Daniel Bullins, Scott Gammons, Eli Coe, and Spencer Odell had one.

     Ricky Joe Chambers, Brad Martin, and Trey Martin had two hits for Triad and Jacob Stadler and Austin James had one apiece.

 

Friday Night (May 30) Action

The Eden YMCA/Rec and the Eden B&G split a doubleheader Friday night at Freedom Park. No other details are available.

Thursday Night (May 29) Action

     In Pony League games at Jaycee Park Thursday night, the Reidsville Yankees beat Triad Septic Tank 12-4 and the Reidsville Braves rallied for a 12-5 win over the North Carolina Baseball Academy.

     A six-run second inning helped lead the Yankees to the win.

Chad Pruitt, Spencer Padgett, and Jim Rigney had two hits each for the Yankees and Quinton Jessie, Dylan Williams, and Austin Boone had one apiece.

     Ricky Joe Chambers had two hits for Triad while Jacob Stadler, Brad Martin, Trey Martin, Austin James, Stephen Harris, and Saul Gutierrez had one apiece.

NC Baseball 5

     The Braves tied the game in the sixth and scored seven in the seventh to get the win.

     Ryan Trent had three hits for the Braves, Brian Minter had two and Jake Whicker, Brandon Wheeler, David Stadler, Jesse Wall, Josh Evans, and John Jackson added one apiece.

     Justin Smith, Tom Holder, and Mike Bailey had one hit each for the Mariners.

Monday Night (May 26) Action

     In Pony League games on Memorial Day, Triad Septic Tank upended the North Carolina Baseball Academy 12-3 and the Eden Boys & Girls Club knocked off the Reidsville Braves 4-2 at Jaycee Park. At Freedom Park, the Eden Rec/YMCA beat the Reidsville Yankees 7-3.

     Triad erupted for five runs in the fourth inning.

     Ricky Joe Chambers had three hits for Triad, Jacob Stadler had two and Brad Martin, Trey Martin, Austin James, Landon Holcomb, and Blake Covington had one apiece.

     Stadler and Chambers combined on the pitching win.

     Justin Smith had two hits for the Mariners and Nathan Wittenbrook, Tom Holder, and Jake Martin had one each.

Eden B&G 4

Braves 2

     Bray Tilley, Scott Gammons, and Matt Moore had two hits each for the Club and Eli Coe and Joseph Evans had one apiece.

     Brian Minter, Brandon Wheeler, and David Stadler had hits for the Braves.

Eden Rec/Y 7

Yankees 3

     The Eden Rec/Y team defeated the Reidsville Yankees by a score of 7-3. 

     Blake Dodson had two hits for Eden while Stephen Greeson, Ryan Bailey and Jeremiah Moreadith added one hit apiece. 

     Chad Pruitt and Josh Farmer had one hit each in the game for the Yankees. 

     Greeson was the winning pitcher as he went six innings and gave up one hit and struck out 11 while Dodson pitched one inning and allowed one hit and struck out one. 

     Dylan Williams pitched four innings for the Yanks and allowed two hits and struck out nine while Quinton Jessie pitched the final two and allowed two hits and collected four K’s.

 

Friday Night (May 23) Action

     The North Carolina Baseball Academy Mariners rallied for a 6-5 win over the Eden Boys & Girls Club in a North Star Pony League baseball game Friday at Jaycee Park.

     In other Pony action, the Reidsville Braves downed the Reidsville Yankees 9-3 and Triad Septic Tank beat the Eden YMCA/Rec 6-2.

     The Academy scored four runs in the third inning and two in the fifth to get the win.

     Ryan Dockery had two hits for the Mariners and Justin Smith, Nathan Wittenbrook, Tom Holder, Mike Bailey, Jake Martin, Alex Willard, and Jonathan Warren had one apiece.

     Eli Coe had two hits for the Club and Daniel Bullins, Scott Gammons, Joseph Evans, and Dallas Southard had one apiece.

     The Braves scored four runs in the third and five in the fourth.

     Brian Minter and Jesse Wall had three hits each for the Braves, Jake Whicker and David Stadler had two each and Alex Stanley, Brandon Wheeler, and Ryan Trent had one apiece.

     Ricky Joe Chambers struck out 17 batters to lead the win for Triad.

     Jacob Stadler and Brad Martin had two hits each for the winners and Landon Holcomb had one.

Thursday Night (May 22) Action

     At Jaycee Park on Thursday night, the Reidsville Braves slipped past Triad Septic Tank 6-3.

     Brian Minter pitched a four-hitter and struck out 10 for the Braves.

     Jake Whicker had three hits for the Braves, Alex Stanley and Josh Evans had two apiece while Jesse Wall, Allen Caligan and Zack Brafford had one apiece.

     Trey Martin had two hits for Triad Septic and Jacob Stadler and Saul Gutierrez had one apiece.

Tuesday Night (May 20) Action

     Dylan Williams scattered six hits over seven innings to lead the Reidsville Yankees to a 5-1 win over the Eden Boys & Girls Club in a North Star Pony League baseball game Tuesday night at Jaycee Park.

     Williams struck out nine in the route-going performance for the Yankees.

     Chad Pruitt and Quinton Jessie had two hits to lead the Yankee offense while Williams, Josh Farmer, and Josh Privett had one apiece.

     Brad Tilley, Eli Coe, Spencer Odell, Daniel Bullins, Scott Gammons, and Joseph Evans had one hit each for the Club.

  

Monday Night (May 19) Action

      In Eden, the Eden Rec/YMCA rallied for a 12-11 win over the North Carolina Baseball Academy at Freedom Park.

     The Eden Rec/YMCA scored five runs late to pull out the win over the North Carolina Baseball Academy Mariners.

     Justin Smith had three hits for the Mariners, Tom Holder and Mikey Bailey had two apiece and Ryan Dockery, Nathan Wittenbrook, Jake Martin, and Jonathan Warren added one each.

Friday Night (May 16) Action

     Ricky Joe Chambers struck out 19 batters to lead Triad Septic Tank to an 8-1 win over the Yankees in a North Star Pony League baseball game Friday night at Jaycee Park.
      In the other Pony game, the North Carolina Baseball Academy Mariners edged the Yankees 8-6.

      Chambers fanned 19 batters in seven innings of a three-hit performance.
      Offensively, Jacob Stadler had two hits for the winners and Brad Martin and Landon Holcomb had one apiece.
      Chad Pruitt had two hits for the Yankees and Quinton Jessie had one.

      Nathan Wittenbrook had three hits for the Mariners and Justin Smith, Ryan Dockery, Tom Holder, Mike Bailey, Kyle Roland, and Chris Hall had one apiece.
      Quinton Jessie had three hits for the Yankees, Chad Pruitt and Josh Privett had two and Spencer Padgett, Dylan Williams, Jim Rigney, and Matthew Michael had one apiece.  

Wednesday Night (May 14) Action

     Brandon Wheeler drove in the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning to rally the Braves to a 3-2 win over the North Carolina Baseball Academy Mariners in a Pony League baseball game Wednesday at Jaycee Park.

     Wheeler’s hit scored Jake Whicker with the go-ahead run in the sixth for the Braves.

     David Stadler had two hits for the winners and Whicker, Brian Minter, Alex Stanley, John Jackson, and Wheeler had one hit each.

      Minter struck out 11 batters on the mound.

     Justin Smith, Ryan Dockery, and Nathan Wittenbrook had hits for the Mariners.
