Wednesday Night (May 7) Action

     In Major League games, Trent Brothers downed Carolina Apothecary 16-5 and Eastside Auto slipped past the Lions Club 10-6.

     Elijah Julian and Wyatt James had three hits each for the Athletics, Caleb Williams had two and Tyler Gilreath, Collin Paschal, Josh Allen, and Myles Wallace had one apiece.

     Patrick Olivo, Jacob Hearn, Levi Bailey (HR), Spencer Street, and Daniel Higgins had one hit each for the Mets.

 

Eastside Auto 10

Lions Club 6

     Caleb Shanaberger and Isaac Paynter had two hits for the Angels and Cameron Slayton, Samuel Knight, Nick Ellington (HR), and Brandon Myrick had one each for Eastside.

     Walt Martin had two hits for the Braves and Cole Hawks, Ryne Dickens (HR), Matt French, and Jacob French had one each.

 

Monday Night (May 5) Action

     The Eastside Auto Angels recorded a 9-2 win over Coca-Cola Monday night in a Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department Dixie Youth Baseball Major League game played at Lowes Park.

     In other games, Billingsley Septic beat Doctors Vision Center 11-2, the Home Savings Bank Grasshoppers blanked the Reds 10-0 and Blue Sky Realty whipped Lions Club 15-0.

Eastside Auto 9

Coca-Cola 2

     Nick Ellington pitched the win for the Angels and also collected two hits.

     Adding one hit apiece were Cameron Slayton, Caleb Shanaberger, Brandon Myrick, Malcolm Cummings, and Isaac Paynter.

     Chaz Blackwell and Taylor Andrews (HR) had hits for the Yankees.

Billingsley 11

Doctors Vision 2

     Tyler Chilton struck out 16 batters in a two-hitter to lead the Red Sox.

     Chilton (HR), Forrest Luking, and Aubrey O’Brian had two hits offensively for Billingsley and Aaron Gwynn, Blake Eanes, Kolton Meyer, and Cody Cobb (HR) had one apiece.

     Chris Cotter and Justin Jarrell had one hit each for the Rockies.

Home Savings 10

Reds 0

     Patrick Bailey pitched four innings of no-hit ball to lead the Grasshoppers.

     Bailey, Cody Ward, Zach Bullard, Cody Carter, and Jake Perdue had hits for Home Savings.

Blue Sky 15

Lions Club 0

     Blue Sky Realty scored eight runs in the second inning to get the win.

     CeJay Chaparro and Hunter French had two hits each for the Cardinals and Brittian Huffstetler, Brandon Spencer, Jordan Wilson, Jalen Foster, and Nick Edwards had one apiece.

     Sam Thorn and Isaac Childrey had hits for the Braves.

 

Wednesday (April 30) Action

     In Major League games, Trent Brothers downed Coca-Cola 11-4 and Billingsley Septic drilled Carolina Apothecary 19-2.

     Trent Brothers scored seven runs in the first inning en route to the win.

     Tyler Gilreath, Greg Lasley, Collin Paschal, Caleb Williams, Clay Moore, Josh Allen, and Michael Mitchell had hits for the A’s.

     Chaz Blackwell had two hits for the Yankees and Jordan Scales and Taylor Andrews had one apiece.

Billingsley 19

Carolina 2

     Billingsley Septic erupted for nine runs in the fifth inning.

Tyler Chilton (HR) and Aubrey O’Brian had three hits each for the Red Sox, Forest Luking, Blake Eanes, and Colton Anderson had two apiece and Aaron Gwynn, Cody Cobb, Kolton Meyer, and      Brandon Poteat had one.

     Chilton had 14 strikeouts on the mound.

     Preston Kennon had the lone hit for the Mets.

Friday Night (April 25) Action

    

     In Major League games, the Doctors Vision Center Rockies outlasted the Coca-Cola Yankees 12-8 and the Billingsley Septic Tank Red Sox blanked the Trent Brothers A's 6-0.

     Thomas Bray and Chris Cline led the Rockies with three hits each, Chris Cotter had two and Kyle Jones, Jonathan Rigney, and Kendal Eanes had one apiece.

     Taylor Andrews (HR) had three hits for the Yanks, Nich Stadler had two and Tyler Skidmore (HR) added one.

Billingsley 6

Trent Bros. 0

     Aubrey O'Brian (HR), Aaron Gwynn, Tyler Chilton, Cody Cobb (HR), and Colton Anderson had one hit each to lead the Red Sox.

     Wyatt James and Josh Allen had hits for the A's.

Wednesday Night (April 23) Action

     Kyle Williams hit a walk-off homer in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the Carolina Apothecary Mets to a dramatic 4-2 win over the Lions Club Braves in a Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department Dixie Youth Baseball Major League game Wednesday at Lowes Park.

     In the other Major game, the Eastside Auto Angels downed the Trent Brothers A’s 6-4 in seven innings.

     Williams’ two-run homer came after a leadoff hit by Jacob Hearn in the second extra frame.

     Hearn, Williams, and Preston Kennon had one hit each for Carolina Apothecary.

     Ryne Dickens and Matthew French had two hits each for the Braves.

Angels 6

Athletics 4

     Caleb Shanaberger drove in the tying runs in the fifth and the go-ahead runs in the seventh for Eastside.

     Shanaberger and Cameron Slayton had two hits each for the Angels and Malcolm Cummings had one.

     Tyler Gilreath, Collin Paschal, Clay Moore, and Caleb Williams had one hit each for Trent’s.

Tuesday Night (April 22) Action

     In Major League action, the Coca-Cola Yankees downed the Carolina Apothecary Mets 8-4 and the Eastside Auto Angels beat the Doctors Vision Center Rockies 11-1.

     Taylor Andrews had three hits for the Yankees, Jordan Scales, Matthew Troxler, and Tyler Skidmore had two each and Chaz Blackwell and Nick Stadler added one apiece.

     Levi Bailey had two hits for the Mets and Allan McKinney, Preston Kennon, and Darren Zeller had one each.

     Cameron Slayton had three hits for the Angels, Caleb Shanaberger (HR) had two and Nick Ellington and Dalante Enoch had one apiece.

Monday Night (April 14) Action

     Billingsley Septic Tank held on for a 4-2 win over the Eastside Auto Angels in a season-opening game of the Reidsville Parks & Recreation Ozone League baseball game Monday night at Lowes Park.

     In the other Ozone game, the Doctors Vision Center Rockies defeated the Lions Club Braves in a wild 17-11 affair.

     Aubrey O’Brian and Tyler Chilton combined on a one-hitter to lead the Red Sox.

     Forest Luking (HR) and Blake Eanes had the lone hits for Billingsley while O’Brian and Chilton combined for 15 strikeouts.

     Caleb Shanaberger had the lone hit for the Angels.

Doctors Vision 17

Lions Club 11

     Doctors Vision Center erupted for 12 runs in the sixth inning and then held off a late comeback by the Lions Club Braves to get the season-opening win.

     Kendall Eanes had four hits for the Rockies and Chris Cotter had three. Adding two each were Thomas Bray, James Talley, Justin Jarrell, and Bradley Davis while Jonathan Rigney and Kyle Jones had one apiece.

     Matt French had four hits for the Braves, Kyle Chrisco and Walt Martin had two each, and Josh Thomas, Jacob French, Blake Stewart, Cole Hawks, and Ryne Dickens had one apiece.
